General
As a school we place a strong emphasis on ‘providing an engaging and enriching environment that stimulates children’s curiosity and supports and develops a lifelong love of learning.’ Outdoor learning provides opportunities for children to develop their friendships, improve attitudes to learning, create a more active imagination, increase focus, take and assess risk, boost problem solving, improve fitness, improve mental wellbeing and self-esteem and improve relationships between students and adults. We strive to create this engaging environment for our children and give them as many outdoor opportunities as possible.
